Exquisite 1940s Walnut Sideboard by Milwood Furniture which has been refurbished in the manner of the Peacock doorway from the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago, USA.
Navy Blue and Gold was a perfect match for the rich figured Walnut grain. The existing finish was removed and refinished with numerous layers of a luxurious hard wax oil. 
The sides feature our signature Tiffany Peacock design from the doorway within the world famous hotel (as seen in the last image). 
The interior has ample storage with 2 large cupboards which feature a Peacock fan which has been hand stencilled. The centre of the sideboard contains 4 large drawers which have been lined with Blue velvet fabric
. 
This piece forms part of our "In the manner of" range which celebrates Art Deco designs from around the globe.
As with all vintage furniture, please expect a level of age related wear and tear.
